Science Stuff

     In this section, we look at the causes of global warming and its consequences, all from a science point of view. Unfortunately, what is considered science today is sometimes hard to decide for the layman. This is unfortunate and dangerous. It is important to know who to believe when we are dealing with the possible end to our civilization. For that reason, this section also has a page discussing the current Climate Myths that are deliberately being spread by people who have a vested interest in keeping the status quo. You will find in that page a simple Credibility Index that you can apply whenever you are listening to people talk about climate change. Once you have read this section, you will see why the top science organizations and top, peer-reviewed science journals all summarize our current situation as follows;

     The climate is changing
     We are the ones causing it, and
     The consequences will be very bad.

     To start your journey, start with The Science of Climate Change. Once you have finished that page, or if you already know the basic science skip directly to The Consequences of Climate Change. Finally, to help you be prepared to debunk the dangerous climate myths prevalent, read the Climate Myths page.

This site is still being developed and evolving, so there will be many changes over the new few weeks as we add slides from the live presentations. Please keep checking back ... and referring others to visit this site.

Don't just take our word for this. Check it all out for yourself!

In this section, you can visit other sites that provide clear information on the science of climate change, the consequences of the changes, and what we can all do about it. Even more, there are some really good sites listed to help you understand why the climate myths being spread today are just that: myths.

The Great Greenhouse Gamble,
which we should not be taking!

What are the odds that something bad is going to happen?

Read this important study that shows that there is a 57% chance that we will warm up by 5C or worse, if we don't do anything (which is what we are doing now, nothing!)
  5C will mean the end of civilization as we know it. This will happen in your child's lifetime, and probably within your own.
